About

Hi, I'm Lucas

I'm a native English speaker and a TEFL-certified teacher with over five years of experience helping adults learn English. I have experience working with students at every level, from beginners working towards their first real conversations, to advanced speakers who want to sound natural and more at ease.

My own language journey started on a trip to Costa Rica, where I fell in love with cross-cultural communication. Since then I've spent years traveling, studying, and working across Latin America, earned a BA in Spanish, and worked alongside Spanish-speaking communities in my hometown. After learning a second language to a near-native level myself, I know the awkward, uncomfortable middle stretch intimately — and coaching students through it is the part I love most.
